District Attorney Power was the orator, and his address gave unbounded i, satisfaction. Mr, Power began by commenting on the fact that Washington was an ideal place to commemorate the 123d anniversary of our country’s birth; that the spot was eloquent with the voice of freedom, liberty being nature’s gospel and the mountains being among its grandest -teachers.
