I hope this will prove enough to satisfy Stolle’s backers that, although I
am in no proper condition to swim, I
haven’t got the “cold feet” which they
so often talk about. I will try and
swim fast enough tomorrow night to at
least make my blood circulate freely,
so as my feet will not be cold; no matter if I do not win the race.
