Nevada County, California, in the following form: ORDINANCE NO. — “Granting to a franchise and privilege to construct and operate a_ street railroad upon certain streets and highways of the City of Nevada: The Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The franchise and privileg is hereby granted to its successors and assigns, to construct and operate by an overneed a. obey Hy en = street -> ailroad over and upon the following streets in said City of Nevada: * sd “Commencing at the intersection af the Grass. Valley Turrpike ‘with the southern boundary line of the City of Nevada, thence northerly along said Grass Valley Turnpike and Sacramento street to Broad street and thence slong Broad street to a point one foot east of Pine street. “SECTION 2. Said railroad shall cousist of a singletrack with all necessary turnouts and switches. ‘lhe rails shail be laid so as to. offer no unnecessary obstruction to travel and be flush with the surface of the street or highway.
