James’ Oates, who. was arrested yesterday by officer Levee for stealing a

. Cottage, pleaded, guilty today in Justice Holbrook’'s court and: was ‘sentenced to six months’ imprisonment in
the county jail. This being Oates’
second or third offense he was given
the fall penalty for his crime, which
comes under the bead of petty larceny.
