Are you coming to Nevada City on
the 4th of July ? If you don’t you'll
regret»it the balance of the time the
good Lord will let you remain on this
mundane sphere. ;
From the talk in Marysville about
the celebration in. Nevada City it would
seem that about a half or two-thirds of
the population of that lovely town was
coming up here on that occasion.
The 4th of July will soon be here—
one week from next Saturday—and the
average boy is waiting anxiously for
the glorious occasion, There are many
older persons who anticipate a grand
time,
The parade of the Curly Bears on
the night of July 8d will be the grandest and noisiest ever seen or heard
since the landing of Christopher Co‘lumbus on this great North American
continent.

required can be made at the yards in
this vicinity.
The great celebration in Nevada City
wijl commence on the night of July 84
at about 9:30 o’clock and will continue
without any recess until midnight of
July 4th. On the 5th (Sunday) the
participants, and that will be about the
whole population, will want to spend
the day in bed preparatory to resuming
their routine business on Monday
