and for city and county purposes, are due and
payable weekly, and if not so paid the water
agent may in his descretion, upon giviny the
delin ,uent consumer one week’s written no ice
to pay up, shut off the water from the premises

Sec, 62. Water rates for all city purposes and
for the Courthouse are due and payab e quarter1y. arigation rates are due and payable in monthly
installments of one-fifth ofthe rates when taking

Gity Road and Street Poll Tax for the year
1824 and 1804. :
HE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
of Nevada do ordain as follows:
Section 1. Theta City Road and Street Poll
of the City of Nevada, over the age of 21 years
aud under 50. years, for City. Road and Street
purposes, which ssid Pol Tax shall become
due and become collectable on and after the
firs! day. of. July, 1804,in the manner provided
by law for the collection of Scheol Poll Taxes,
Section 2. The City Marshal of said City of
P evada is hereby;made coliector of said tax, and
shall e.llect the same in the manner provided
by law, snd upon the neglect or refuel of any
person liable therefor to pay said tax, after demand, said Marshal miust coheet the same by
scizure and sale of uny peisonal property owned
by such person. Sald sale may be made after
three hours verbal notice of time and place, and
the provisions of Sections 3791, 3798, 3794, 8795,
and 5796 of the Politica! Code of California shal
apply to: nd govern such seizure and gale.
Secticn 38. The City Marshal must make a
sworn report to the City Board of Trustees of
the total amount of said poll taxes collected by
him during the preceding month, and must pay
the same, less the amount of his percentage: for
collection, to the City Treasurer at the same
time as ot’ er revenues are made payable.
Section 4. The City Maralid shall be allowed
fifteen per cent of all su h poll taxes collected
by him for said fiscal year, for making such collection,
