Wallis, writing from Grass Valley to the Strand Magazine, New York, sends a photograph, or rather a series of photographs, of Wm. Grenfell, the insurance agent of that place, taken there with a special multiplying plateholder; by which twenty-eight photos are taken separately on one plate and printed off twenty-eight at a time.
