The Morning Parade committee of
the Fourth then met.
It was decided to give $25 for the
best decorated float, and $15 for the
best decorated varriage in the parade.
Major Simonds reported that the
parade would be in three divisions
and explained the way in which the
divisions will be formed. The parade
will start at 10:30 sharp.
After comparing notes it was decided
to ask the general committee at tonight’s meeting for an appropriation
of $825 to carry out the plans designed
for the morning parade. —
