The Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Sims’ Pastorate Celebrated. The twenty-fifth anniversary of Rev. J. Sims’ pastorate of the Congregational Church in this city was observed last. evening in a manner befitting the noted occasion with évery manifestation of respect and ardent affection. In the morning Mr. Sims delivered a sermon to the children of his Sunday school and congregatitn, after which he baptized a large number of babes. Three members were then admitted into the church by letter and the sac-. ramént of the Lord’s Supper administered. condition of the church many failed to gain admittance.
