\HE BOARD,OF TRUSTEES OF THE
City of Nevada do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That in place of establishing
a Board of Health by Ordinance, as provided
by section 3061 of Article V of the Politica!
Code of ffie State of California, the health
regulations for the City of Nevada sha!l be
under the control and management of a
the'Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada
to hold said office at the pleasure of said
Board, and for such salary or compensation
as the Board of ‘Trustees shall adopt from
time to time.
Section 2. The Health Officer of the City
of Nevada shall have a general supervision
ofall the mat ers appertaining to the sanitary condition of the city, aud make such
rules and regulations in relation thereto as
are not inconsistent with law, and whenever
necessary shall have the powss to perform
any of the duties required hy Article II] and.
IV of the Political Code of the State of California regulating health.

and establish pest houses and cause. to be
removed thereto, and kept, any person having a contageous or infectious b=
