“An .ordinance granting to JAMES Db.
HAGUE, his successors .end assigns the
right to place, erect and maintain poles, wires
and other conductors for the tradsmission of
electricity for power purposes and to lay a pipe
or conduit for the purpose of tranemit.ing wa'er
for power from a point in the public highway
on the east boundary of the Empire Mine, in
Grass Valley township, county of Nevada;
thence westerly along the Ophir road to the east
lide of the townsite of South Grass Valley and
to executors, the privilege of operating and
conducting said power line and pipe line. The
Board of Supervisors of the county of Nevada
do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The county of Nevada, hereby
grants to JAMES D. HAGUE, his succesaors and assigns, the right and rivilege
to place, lay, work. maintain and operate on the
Ophir road from the east boundary of the Kmse mine, westerly to the townsite of Grass
alley, poles, wires and other conductors for
the transminasion of electricity for power pur
poses and a pipe line to conduct water for
power purposes.
Section 24, Said wires or conluctors shall be
stretched upon poles or other fixtures, abovo
ground; in workmanlike and proper manner,
and in such s manner as not-to interfere with
travel upon s@id road, and said pipe line shall
be-placedinsnch a manner as not to interfere
with the use of said highway by the public.
