Mr. and Mrs, ©, J. Naffziger entertained
a number of their friends last evening at
‘their home on Nevada stréet by means of
a whist party. Six tables were necessary
to accommodate the players and the first
prizes were won by ©. J. Naffsiger and
Mrs, H.G, Parsons; the second by C. P.
Longhridge and Mra, F. E, Brown, and the
booby prizes by KE. B. Power and Mrs, ©,
P. Loughridge. Following the whist an
excellent musical program, interspersed
with interesting games, was rendered. Mr,
and Mrs, Naffziger were unsparing in their
efforts to make it pleasant for all concerned
and entertained in that hospitable manner
for which they are noted.
