Creek, near the mine. No particulars,
except that the body had been strippod of lothing and that death rasultfrom a gun-shot wound.”
Tue Marysville Democrat says :—
The Colusa Sun, speaking of crop
prospects, says they are anything but
flattering. From Suisun clear up the
poor sprouts are showing. Colusa
county will fare as well, perhaps, as
any, but a full crop is now impossible.

make a full crop without more rain, if
we only have continued cold south
winds. Many fields look like they
were past relief, and if cold winds do
not come inthe next ten days it will
only be only the best summer-fallow
