Herry Belford had very--nearly lost

who do what they term a “casting act.™
That is, two members of the Bedford

pedestals high up in the air and toss
to each other a young member of the
troupe. Itisa well known fact that
acrobats, equilibrists and gymnasts
must have the same music for every

of a gun, straight to the net, but fell
io such a manner that he dropped on
his back, turned partly over and then
fell to the floor. The net saved his
life, though Manager Rowe said he
had undoubtedly received a severe
shock.
