From the newsy Republican of Satarday last: Tahoe Tavern is the modest name by which the magnificent hotel érected at Lake Tahoe by D. L, Bliss, will be known. It will be a thoroughly up-todate hostelry, modern in all its appointments and first-class in every particular. Carloads of furniture and other equipments for the hotel have been going to the Lake during the past few days. The opening will take place the first of June. W. Watson, section foreman at Floriston disappeared last Sunday and nothing has been heard or seen of him since. No reason can be assigned for his disappearance, He left some of his clothing in the section house and said nothing to anyone about leaving.
