Company. July Ist, at a salary of
$100,000 a year, Mr. Fish will take
office as the President of the American
Bell Telephone Company and of the
American ‘Telephone’ and Telegraph
Company. Plainly it is the wish of
the capitalists behind the company
and its officers to disassociate from it,
not only Edison’s name, but his personality.

Kriss,”. and “A Modern Rosalind.”
Mrs. Thomas has sought for years. to
advance the children of the poor. She
has worked among the crowded tenement districts for nearly ten years.
