Used as. a Surgical Instrument. We have been shown an interesting ‘ Jetter received by David Hutchison giving the experience of his brother-inlaw, S. B. Hamilton, who left for the} Klondike county last July with’a party . . of fortune hunters. The letter states after many hardships they reached Stewart’s river about Chrismas time. The party commenced., prospecting near the mouth of the river and made two unsuccessful attempts to get down to gravel, but’ were driven out by water. They made a third hole inside their cabin, but failed again. They then moved up the stream but found everything located for sixteen miles on either side. They built a cabin and Mr. Hamilton had his hands and feet frozen.
