An Abundance of Power.
The Electric Power Company are
drawing the water down in Lake Vera
to get at a crevasse which has opened
up in the northern bank. This willenable repairs to be made more readily
and cheaply, as lowering of the water
in the lake at the present time is not
serious, and due to the fact that the
plant onthe South Yuba will be connected to the one on the North Yuba
by the end of July, giving the Electric
Power Company an abundance of
power. Work on the pole line has
already been started, the surveyors beitg now in the field.
