A separate portion of the Exhibition Pavilion will be set apart for these county exhibits, which will be set up by the society _ without expense, and a proper and qualified attendant will be put ip Ree we who will present and explain them in detail to travelers and ‘the “vounty. organization should desire to Zemploy a special attendant for its ex®hibit no objection will be made. Gaylord, which took place this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the family residence on Broad street, was largely attended. Rev. J. W. Phelps of the Methodist church conducted the services, which were of a very impressive éharacter. The remains were buried in Pine Grove cemetery, the bearers of the pall being C. E. Mulloy, Geerge A. Nihell, J. G. Neagle, George Shaw, D: E. Morgan, Charles Grissel. The Electric Power Company are drawing the water down in Lake Vera to get at a crevasse which has opened up in the northern bank. This willenable repairs to be made more readily and cheaply, as lowering of the water in the lake at the present time is not serious, and due to the fact that the plant onthe South Yuba will be connected to the one on the North Yuba by the end of July, giving the Electric Power Company an abundance of power.
