Carl Lane, the young son of Mr. and Mre. Henry Lane, met with a serious and what might have been a fatal accident last evening while riding hie bicycle on Commercial street. When he reached Rosenthal’s store he struck a dog, which was lying on the street, and wae thrown a distance of ten feet, landing on his head and shoulder on the asphalt.
