It is claimed, however, that on a number of previous occasions young Hippert took the chances and would set on the second bench, under the gate, while doing the work as it isa much easier task. Ofcourse whether or not he was 80 engaged yesterday will never be knewn but, judging frem the nature of the wound on his head, it is thought that he was setting on the second bench Arrow shots. Shand—and three brothers, A rescue patty ‘was organized as soon as the news reached Graniteville and about a dezen men started out to bunt for the unfortunate young man. They shut off the water from the dam and this morning the remains of Andrew Hippert were recovered and taken to Graniteville. The body was bruised and cut and the skull fractured just above the forehead, Gus Ozalli, Will Shand and others recovered the remains and telephoned to Lane’s undertaking parlors at thiscity for a casket.
