All proposals must be accompanied by a certified chesk on some responsible bank for at least 10 per cent of the amount of the proposal. Should the lowest bidder fail to enter into vontract for the construction of the bridge within five days after the award of contract, said 10 per-cent to be forfeited to Nevada City. The successful bidder will be required to give a bond equal to 50 per cent of contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
