BROAD STREET, NEVADA. CITY, CAL Urs. Cronje Insane. AMSTERDAM, May 6—Advices from St. Ohe Animal Show. Another large Crowd Witnesses the Fine Performance. Norris & Rowe’s big trained animal show drew a very large crowd last night and all who appreciate the intelligence of animals enjoyed themselves greatly. The band played during the performance and during no time was there any wait or delay. The performing seals were a genuine novelty and won much well deserved applause. Near the close of the performance some very exciting chariot and hurdle races were given. The closing act was avery realistic fire scene in which dogs and monkeys acted as firemea and policemen, handling the minjature fire apparatus with astonishing skill. The bigh jumping by the hounds’ was the best ever seen here and took. the attention, of the dog fanciers.’ Fargo, the small elephant, performed his part perfectly, as did also the ponies, dogs and monkeys.
