Picnie Weather
Drawing Near.
_Ifthe present. warm and pleasant
weather continues for a couple of
weeke the pionic grounds and outing
resorts in this vicinity will again become attractive places’ on Sunday afternoons, and special occasions as well,
for many people of this city and Grass
Valley. As all weather prophets are
unanimous in the prediction that we
are to have an exceedingly hot sammer thie year, there seems to be little
doubt but what Glenbrook and Olym.
pia Parks, Shebley’s Grove, and the
shady nooks around Lake Vers, will
be freely patronized during the next
foar or five months, providing the
predicted weather conditions are pot
reversed in this locality. A large
namber will also: soon take their annual trip to the seaside. However,
most all people will be content to remain at home for some time yet, and
especially as long as the weather is so
beantifa] and inviting as it is now.
