Negotiations, which have been going on
Two More to Be Sold.
The Stockholders of the Cadmus and the
Home Mines to Visit Us.
Thirty-five or forty stockholders in the
Cadmus and the Home mines will arrive
here from Sah Francisco tomorrow morning
at 3:30 o'clock, The object of their visit,
as has been previously announced, is to see
the mines in which they are directly interested and also to take a look at the other
mines and the district generally.
About 11 o’clock in the forenoon Goyne’s
band will go to the Cadmus mine, which is
situated on Deer creek, a short distance
below the Providence, and about a mile
from town, The visitors will follow, in

Mrs.-Alice Reardan, wife of Harry -V.
Reardan formerly of thi city, died at San
Franciseo yesterday after a. protracted illness, death being’ due toa general breaking
down of the system, During fhe past few
days previous to her death a change seemed
to take place in her condition and hopes:
were held out toher relatives and friends
of the prolongation of her life, if not ultimate recovery. But it was only the revival
which invariably seems to precede the end
and when the final summons came she was
in the midst of those dearest to her. Mrs,
Reardan was born at Oroville but was taken
to Grass Valley at a very early age, and
was educated in the schools of that city as
Alice Foster, being the daughter of A,
J. Foster, the well-known merchant of

Took Out the Other Dynamo.
This morning the second dynamo for the
Electric Power Company’s Works left town
ona big wagon drawn by twelve horses,
six of the horses belonging to. Vic Austin
and six being owned by Jack Welsh, The
two teams are considered about the best in
the county, and when hitched together the
large and powerful animals presented a fine
sight. It was, expected that the heavy
piece of machinery (six tons weight) would
be delivered on the hill above the power
house some time today, but as the road is
badly cut up from the heavy hauling over it
the past two weeks, it was the ‘opinion of
some that it would take over a day to make
the trip, as’the road_would need tixing at
different ‘places and breakages might occur
to the wagon,
