Thonias Baxter, an aged resident of
Charlton, cremated in a fire which destroyed his residence. The blazing
body could be seen through the window. It is thought Baxter was murdered and the house set on fire to conceal the crime.

in the reserve fand. With one exception the year just closed has been the
most prosperous in the twenty-five
