Now that the political campaign is at an ead, the business cendition of the country is almost certain to show an immediate and marked improvement. Men of all parties will new turn away from the atrife of politics to co-operate heartily with one another in prometing new enterprises and undertakings. A feeling of greater cheerfylgess and confidence will pervade the public) mind, atid the energies of the peaple, 80, ing, will be devoted to business purposes, with results that canuot fail to be beneticial to all industries, all trades and al] classes of people. : We have gone through eighteen sionibe of depression, and of ‘course swe cannot expect to recover all at once the grosperity oi two years ago, but that we will approach nearer to it every week, and finally surpass it, is a-certainty. Ours is a young, vigorous, progressive country. Dieastrous~ years and foolish politics may check its prosperity for a time, but sooner or later the enterprise ward career will begin again, We are now at the point where the upward and onward tendency is about to reassume control. The projectors claim that in five or six years the yield of the trees will be sufficient to pay dividends and from that time on it will ‘be a paying investment. The soil and climate of the locality selected is said to be particularly adapted to the culture of olives. The capital stock of the company is 50,000 shares of the par value of $1 per share. Persons desiring stock should commmnicate with the Directors, of which H. F. Dillman is the President and J. J. Henderson Secretary. a Oe ee The Official Count Completed.
