G. ©,, will bold its annual silhouette target shoot at Manzanite range, at which time it. is probable that the entire company will tarn out. The “boys” always look forward with pleaeure to thie annual event for a number of reasons. Four years ago the State had an elegant white, silk flag with silhouette figures on it made which was to be contested for by company in the State, the company making the best-score to keep it until the next annual shoot and if they succeeded in winning it three successive times-it was to be kept by them. The first time-Oompany O was beaten by a few points by a company in the southern part of the State bat the next three times the reguits were different as the local orgapization won the trophy with many points to spare and it bas now become the permanent property of the oldest company in the State’e service. This year another tropby isto be given but whether it will be another flag or something else is not known yet, but whatever it might be Company Cis determined to win it if possible. Some of the other companies think that as the company bere now has one trophy it should be barred from the contest but this will not be done as such an act would depress merit. and breed discontent and but little interest would then be shown. ee) For U.
