The contract for constructing a fivestamp mill at the Chapman Ranch
mine has been let to Martin Brothers &
Muir, of the Miners Foundry at this
city, and the work of putting in the
machinery will be crowded without the.
loss of a day’s time. “A substantial
building is to be erected, and the lumber for it is alréady ofdered. -The new
mill will be a model in its completeness. Aurong the recent inventions to
be introduced will be a Wilfley concentrator. It-is expected that the mill
_ will be. dropping its stamps before January first. ‘
