Died at Forest City.
Thomas Veale died at Forest City
yesterday of miners’ consumption. He
was seventy years old and leaves five
children, the latter being Richard Veale
and Mrs. Russell of this city, Thomas
Veale of Grass Valley, William Veale
of Forest Oity and Mrs. Larkin of San;
Francisco. Mr. Veale formerly lived
at Grass Valley, North Bloomfield and
Moore's Flat, and at the time of his
death belonged to Union Lodge of
Odd Fellows at North Bloomfield.

The Uniform Rank Rank Knights of Pythias of Colfax propose to give a ball at
