SECTION 2. buch wires or conductors shall he stretched upon poles or o‘hér fixtures above ground in a workmanlike and pipes manner; said poles shall be erected at the edge of the sidewalks in raid City in a good and subst .ntial manner and shall be painted. Said grantee and its assigus shal) couse a wire to be placed in the City Hall of said Citv with a proper receiver and transmitter, which they shall keep in good condition and which shail be open to use of ihe City Marsha’, or other City Offieers at all times, for police or fire alarm purposes, fres of charge. Che Board of Trustees of seid City shali nave the right to cause said grantee to move the lo eation of any pole whenever the public convenfence shall require the loeativn of the same elsewhere; the expense of such removal to be paid by said grantee. SECTION 3. The said grantee, or aesigus, may make all necessary excavations in any of saic strects, alleys or public high ways for the purpose ‘of ereeting aad maiotainiug poles or other supports for said wires or eonductors or repairing the sam~, and said work shall be done in com— pliance with the necessary rules, regulations, -rdinances or orders which may, duriig the continuance of this Franchise be adopted from ‘ime-to time by the Board of Trustees of said City, and the same shall be done tothe satisfaction of the ssid Board of Trustees. Nothing in this ordinance shall be congtrued asin anywiseto prevent the proper authorities of said City of Nevada from sewerirg, grading, paving, pl-nking, repairing’ or a) tering any of said stres’s or thoroughfares herein mentioned.
