Near Corwinsville, Pa., a few days
ago two tramps entered the schoolhouse after the pupils had been dismissed. They attacked, overpowered
and outraged the teacher; and afterwards cut out her tongue. ‘They then
fled, leaving her for dead. She recovered sufficiently to write on the
floor the particulars, with a partial
description of her murderers.
