Description and Remarks :
REVOLUTION is a dark brown, has a rich black flowing.mane and
tail, stands 15 hands 3 inches high and weighs 1050 pounds; has
plenty of bone and muscle; trotted in his 4-year-old form, over the
San Joaquin Agricultural Society’s track, winning easily against _a
strong field of horses. Seven heats were trotted in the race ; also win»
ner of the free-for-all stallion race at Grass Valley, in
defeating Almont and Prompter handily. REVOL ON is one of
the grandest trotting sires on the Pacific coast, and has shown trials
in his work of 2:27. He is sure gaited, level headed, kind and gentle,
and is asure foal getter. :

The Michigan. Women’s Christian Temperance Union is to be
represented at New Orleans by a
