Che Output for Four Months
Over Gwenty Millions.
The remarkable wealth of the Klondike can be gleaned from the figures
just at hand. shewing that during the
months, of June, July, August and
September the amount of gold actually
exported was $21,643,000. These figures were taken from the records of
the gold commissioner at Dawson,
where a certificate of export must be
obtained by. everyone shipping out
gold, under penalty of forfeiture of the
dust for non-compliance. There has
been a large rush of gold out since October Ist, giving promise that the exports for the year may surpass those
of any other year in the history, of the
camp. When the October figures are
completed it will not be surprising if
the shipments for the season eggregate
quite $24,000,000. Hundreds of persons are now coming out, and all of
them are bringing gold dust, Many of
them are successful miners, who have
not been. outside since they went in
soon after the first Klondike excitement. e

“A New Rheumatism Cure,
Ambrose Taylor, a resident of Rialto, a small town near San Bernardino,
believes he has discovered a cure for
rheumatism and paralysis,. Mr. Taylor is now 65 years of age and has
been a sufferer from rheumatism for
many years and has lately suffered a
stroke of paralysis, The strong point
of Mr, Taylor’s proposed cure is its
cheapness and the lack of trouble
with which it can be tried. No doctors are necessary and furthermore
no medicines or any nourishmént, It
consists solely of fasting, and. Mr.
Taylor tried his remedy, took his own
medicine as it were, for twenty-three
days. -He says he is much improved
and that he only lost fourteen pounds,
Mr. Taylor would be fasting yet, but
for one drawback, his relatives interfeted,

Women and Jewels.
Jewels, candy, flowers, man—that is
the order of a woman’s preferences.
Jewels form a magnet of mighty power
to the average woman. Even that
greatest of all jewels, health, is often
ruined in the strenous efforts to make
or -savethe money to purchase them.
Ifa woman will risk her health to get
a coveted gem, then let her fortify herself against the insiduous consequences of coughs, colds and bronchial affections by the regular use of Dr.
Boschee’s German Syrup. . It will
promptly arrest consumption in. its
early stages and heal the affected lungs
and bronchial tubes and drive the
dread disease from the system. It is

for coughs, colds and all bronchial
