Quartz Mining Near San Juan.
———
The Banded Treasure mine, situated’ on
the Middle Yuba river, a few miles from
North San Juan, is looking very fine just
now. A three-foot Huntiugton mill has
just been put’up there and will be set to
work tomorrow. The ledge is quite large
and the quartz assays $50 a ton. Being
of a decomposed nature it — is easily and.
quickly crushed by a rotary mill such as
“has been put up. The owners feel very
jubilant over their prospects. Henry’ Huckins if one of the principal ®wners. j
