record as Superior Judge daring. the
present term; and th> way in which
the criminal buriness has been con
ducted. He invited comparison as to
ita economy aud efficiency. Taken
altogether the Judge’s remarke were
straight and to the point.

Attorney, diecussed in a general way
the issues of the campaign, and was
listened to with the closest attention
for over twenty minutes. He explained matters in such a clear and
forcible manner, that the audience was
véry favorably impressed with the
young gentleman’s abilities, It is
very evident that Mr. Lihdley wi!l attend to the duties of the District At

and in his usual happy vein delighted
everyone who was present. He spoke
of what was expected of a County Recorder, aud expressed himeelf of carefally attending tothe duties, and being obliging to all who have business

spoke in his usual witty way, and
captared the good wisbes of the audience. .

stepped forward to make his remarks,
the audience loudly cheered, showing

koow him to be efficient, energetic,
conscientious and courteous.

was next to the front, andin a logical
way convinced the audience of his
