Telephone No. 4. = a a The Wheel Collapsed. A. Guillaume, the vineyardist and wine maker, who resides at Grass Valley, had a ‘break down yesterday near the Gold Run bridge un Sacramento street. One of the front wheels of the wagon collapsed, and Guillaume was thrown to the ground ‘with considerable force.’ His left leg was badly . bruised. The horses made no attempt to run away, — -_ Arrested For Battery. ‘ Charles Campbell, an employe at King & . Wolford’s sawmill, was, arrested yesterday on a charge of battery. The complaint was * nade by Joaquin Lopez, better known as Joe King. Campbell was arrested by Constable Dillon, and upon appearing before Justice Holbrook he plead guilty. He will be sentenced this evening. .
