A resolution to propose to the people of the

of new counties; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that no
new county shall be established whieh shall

-eight thousand; nor shall a new county be
formed containing a lers pulation than five
thousand; nor shall any line thereof pass within five miles of the county seat of any count;

HE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
Of Nevada do ordain as follows:
Section 1. Theta City Road and Street Poll
Tax of Three Dollars is mere? jevied, for the
fiscal year 1894-1895, Upon each male inhabitant
of the City of Nevada, over the age of 4 ears
aod under 50 years, for City Road and Street
purposes, which said Pol Tax shall become
due and become collectable on and after th
first day of July, 1894, in the manner provide
by law forthe coHeetion of School Poll Paxes.
Section 2. The City Marshal of said City. of
Nevada is hereby. made collector of said tax, and
shall ec. lect the same in the manner previded—
by law, and upon the neglect or refusal of any
person liable therefor to pay said tax, after demand, said Marshal must collect the same by
seizure and sale of any persoual poperty owned
by such person, Said sale may be made after
three hours verbal notice of time and place, and
the provisions of Sections 3791, 3798 » 8796,
and'5796 of the Political Code of California shall
appl; to and govern such seizure and sale.
Section 3. The City Marshal must make a
sworn report to the City Board of Trustees of
the total amount of gaid poll taxes collestedb
