LOCAL MATTERS. pe THE ‘PAVILION. ‘ The Pavilion committee of the 17th Agricultural Association met sti co os gn ogee Fi was advised by friends that one ‘Phurgday afternoon and decided upon plans for distributing and ar_and crystallized quartz having at its apex a fountain whose streams will keep wet and glistening the ~ pileofore. From here will radiate avenues six feet wide and bounded by spacesfor displays of "The parlor will be used as an art gallery. An addition 50 feetlong and 18 wide will be constructed of canvas: on the east side of the main building with which it will be connected by a wide passage-way. It will be devoted to the exhibiting of machinery of all kinds, vehicles and other cumbersome articles. The work of preparing the avenues, platforms, etc., inthe Pavilion will begin next Monday, and by the close of the week all the and the arranging of displays will be well under way. The prospects are that the Pavilion display this year will be even more extensive and attractive than it was in 1885. Mine owners and superintendents are urged to contribute or loan .specimens of ore (it is not necessary that they be rich in mineral) either sending the same to Geo. C. Gaylord, chairman of the committee, or informing him as to where they can be had by going after them. People expecting to. make exhibitsin the Pavilien should not delay in asking for space, or some of them may be crowded out. It. costs nothing to be an exhibitor so far as any charge for the privilege is concerned. SS Aver’s Sarsaparilla is designed for those who need a medicine to purify their blood, build them up, increase their appetite, and rejuveriate their whole system.
