Will it make good? This has grown
into a common saying in regard to
things in. general and especially in

thie question will be asked by many
theatre goers who read the glowing
advance notices of Hennessy Leroyle’s
comedy, “Other -People’s Money,”
which ie announced for presentation
at the local theater Friday and Saturday night. The only answer that can
be made to this question prior to the
date in question is to point to the record both play and player have made,
which consists of over three years of}
continuous peformances throughout

there only remains for the amusement

A Good Choice.
In looking over the field for a csndidate for the Assembly, the Republicans
were fortunate in the selection of John.
Gla:son. For many years: he has resided at Grasse Valley, watching the
city grow and growing withit. As a
public spirited man the city’s welfare
bas always been dear to him and in
every manner possible he has assisted
in its upbuilding. He was actively
ergaged in the grocery business for
several years. Few men _ know the
wants of the county better than Mr.
Glasson, and if elected he will give the
people his close attention.—Grass Valley Union.
