About six months ago he was slightly deranged and was found throwing crumbs to the birds in Golden Gate Park. Manager Belasco speaks in the highest terms of Mrs. Watson. He saysshe was a very modest woman and seemed devoted to her husband. She nearly always accompanied Watson about town, and the couple seemed to enjoy a happy ‘married life. Mrs. Watson was about 83 years old, while her husband was about 88 years. [Geo. A. Watson was born in Pennsylrania, aud lived for. a long time at Forest Springs, where bis fat her, B. J. Watson, was teaching school. His parents afterward moved to this city, and he learned the print ing business in the Transcript office. In 1876 he married Miss Jennie Brown, niece of Nat. P. Brown.
