Arthur being united in: marriage to

Lauren Woodrutt Cats
a Long Gash In His

Lauren Woodruff, the Columbia
Hill merchant, was over at North San
Jaan last Saturday night, and in stepping off the porch of Bradbury’s hotel,
he slipped and fell, striking his head
heavily on a plank. The séalp on-the
left side of his head was ripped open
from the forehead tothe back part of
hia head. Dr. Fouch was summoned
and it took seventeen stitches to close
the wound. The wound though painful is not serious, and will heal rapidly.
