Bradford, The Marysville Appeal contains the following additional particulars’of the Brown’s Valley accident, of which mention was made in yesterday’s TranSCRIPT: William C. Bradford met with a fatal accident at the Webb mine, Brown's Valley, at’ 10:45 Tuesday night, which resulted inhis death at 1:40 Wednesday morning. Bradford and a miner named. Tom Powers, who is deaf, were working in a drift with a machine drill and had in about eight holes when an explosion. occurred. Both men were injured, but Powérs, who was hurt in the'thigh, and whose injuries were not very serious, gave the alarm, and Bradford and himself were:taken out of the mine, Bradford, who was fatally ‘injured, was able to talk a little when brought up to the station.
