to have been arrested, tried and sentenced toa term in the Kansas penitentiary, is, of course, not the real
Black Bart. But he turns out to be a
scamp in whom California law o‘ticers
are interested, for he is known here
His soubriquet of “Black Bart” in Kansas is probably self-assumed. He looks
