the value of mining debris of this class.

Byorything Around Here.
Last evening the citizens’ committees forthe reception of the Mining
Engineers who will be with us Sunday,
October Ist, are getting along very well
with their arrangements, and the reception will prove to bea grand affair.
At City Hall the committee on mines
held a meeting, Fred Zeitler acting as
chairman and W. W. Wagoner secretary. In addition to taking the visitora to the mines on Deer Creek they
will be taken to the Pioneer Works
and other places of interest. The chair-.
man was instructed to appoint a-committee of nine to direct the movements
of the tesms, and the general committee will be asked to appropriate $100
to pay for the vehicles.
There was a misunderstanding about
the meeting of the general committee
last evening, and there were only a.few
present. Another meeting will be held
at the conrthouse this evening—immediately after the meeting of the reception committee.
