The water question. was discussed and a committee.consisting of Wm. H. Martin, E, J. Rector, and Fred. Zeitler. was.appointed to call a mass. meeting. of citizens. to be held at the Nevada City Theater within the next two weeks to devise ways-and means to facilitate the, matter of providing the city with a better water supply. Chairman Zeitler presided over the meeting and David E. Morgan acted as Secretary. —ANRW WAT. Two Families Tackle-the Klondyke Trip in Wagons, Two families from Gilroy, Santa Clara county, paseed through Genoa, Nevada, last week on their way to the Klondyke. Prineville, Parsons Ferry, Fossil, Mayville, Condon, Arlington, Wash., South and North Yakima, Ellensburg, Winatchee, Waterville, Custom Honse, Caribou, B. C., Lake Tackia, and ‘Babeen City, within 135 miles of Dawson. Married Last Evening. There was avery pleasant wedding on Selby Flat last evening when William Harry, a well-known young liveryman of this city, and Miss Isabel Mooney were married. at the home of the young lady's parents, Mr. and Mrs. ‘Thomas H. Mooney. The Mooney farmhouse was prettily decorated with flowers and ferns and was_brilliantly illuminated. -The.ceremony was witnessed by numerous friends and relatives, and was followed by. a supper that was .greatly enjoyed.
