Miss Mamie Harryhousen also favored the gathering with an iostrumental solo, and her manipulations of the ivories was admirably executed and as usual she was encored to the echo, The most prominent feature of the evening, however, and one that was extremely fascinating, was the sheet and piliow drill, in which sixteen of the most charmiug and vivacious ladies, en masque, of the fraternal tody took part. Ibis was doubly interesta ing from the fact that two nice prizes -. were awarded to the ones who could solve the identities of the greatest numbers of those taking part. Mr. William Martin succeded in carting off the first prize, whille Mrs. Louie Schwartz contented herself with the second prize. To wind up the enjoy. able evening the members indulged in the light fantastic until nature intervened and waroed them to seek the repose which ig found in sleep. Fine Entertainment. The Obristian Endeavor Society of the Oongregational church will give an entertainment in Odd Fellows Hall during the first week of October.
