The Nevada Oounty Promotion
Committee met at .the office of the
South Yuba Water Qompany ast
night, and the reports of the sub-committees, together with the bills they
incurred, were réceived and approved,
and the.committees were instructed to
pay all indebtedness as soon as possible. :
E. ©. Uren, who sketched the map of
Nevadacounty, presented a bill of
$25 for his ssrvices, and donated that}
amount fo committies, for which
he was thanked,
The committee on receipts submitted
its report: which was approved. The
report showed that the total receipts
from all sources to date were $2,081 05,
Of this amount $155 25 and $47.40 have
already been paid on account of labor
and amusements, respectively, at the
park, and on motion the secretary was
instructed to draw a warrant for the
last named amounte. The receipts
were as follows: i
Gate receipts and tickets sold.$1011 65

Dance at Glenbrook Park. .. 78 60
Ice cream privilege 81 50
Grass Valley ball 39 50
A number of tickets gre yet unaccounted for.
~The report of the committee on
printing and advertising showed that
it bad incurred a total expense of
$786.55. Of this amount $128.80 has
already been paid and the secretary
was instructed to audit the amounts.
The reception committee of Grass
Valley reported thatan indebtedness
of $153 55. was incurred, aud the report
was accepted and the bills approved,

went to an expense of $168.45. The
bills were allowed.
The commit'ee on bands reported
that its expenditures amounted to
$650.58. Of this sum $95.28 has already been paid. The report was approved.
The committee on amusements incurred an expense of $245.25, of which

The committee on music owes
$485.50,-Ten-dollars has been made;

A vote of thanks was. tendered Mrg.

vices fa making the concert a success.
The report of the committee on barbecue showed that an indebtedness of
$470.40 had been incurred.’ The report was accepted and bills app: oved.
The committee on exbibit presented
a lengthy and interesting report. The
total expense was $846.75, of which
$678 90 had been paid. Its report was
accepted,
A vote of thanke was tendered 8. T.
Jones of Grass Valley for donating six
days Jabor to the committee on exhibit at San Francisco.
The total expense incurred by the
Promotion Committee for the exhibit
at San Francisco, and for carrying 00

leaves a deficiency of $194998. The
Supervisors suppropriated $1000 towards the expenses of the committee,
and when this amount is applied toward the deficiency, the liabilities will
amount to $949.98.

Oity next Wednesday evening, when a
detailed report will be meade, and
plans discussed for meeting the indebtedness. ;
