Recently Prof. George Davidson, former Chief of the Coast and Geodetic

“Alaska and Klondyke.”
“Alaska a shore line of 2,500

for $7,200,000, largely, as I believe, on
my recommendation, and since then
the money has been repaid seven-fold.
Already we have derived certainly not
tess than $50,000,000 from that country. .The whole Yukon 1,900 miles
long, with 2,600 miles of branches, was
once under glacier. But California isa
greater mining country today than

Dyspepsia
The explanation is simple. It is found in’!
that impure blood which is contin.
ually feeding the nerves upan refuse
instead of the elements of strength and
vigor. In such condition opiate and
nerve compounds simply deaden and
do not cure. Hood’s Sarsaparilla feeds
the nerves pure, rich, red blood; gives
natural sleep, perfect digestion, is the
true remedy for all nervous troubles.

Growing
Children
One-third of all the children
die before they are five years
o'd. Most of them die of some
wasting disease. They grow
very slowly; keep thin in flesh;
are fretful; f does not do
them much good. You. can’t
say they have any disease, yet
they never prosper. A slight
. cold, or some stomach and
bowel trouble takes them away
easily.
SCOTT’S EMULSION of
Cod-liver Oil with Hypophosphites is just-the remedy for
towing: children. It makes
hard flesh; sound 3 not
soft, flabby fat. It makes
strong bones, thy nerves.
It changes poor children to
children rich in prosperity. ~
