Talked It Over. At lest night’s meeting of ‘Nevada Hose Co., No. 1, the proposition of sendiag Ohief Engineer A. K, Snell to represent the Fire Dapartment at the Eleventh Annas! Convention of Fire Ohiefe of the Pacific Coast, which convenes {n Olymphia, Washington, on the 2let inst., was discussed Pro and con at some length. It was believed by some that the money could be better used in other ways. Ohief Sneil himself stated thé opinion that the benefits to be derived would not: equal the benefits that could be had! by expending the money in other manuere. Still there were others who warmly advocated representation’ at the convention, firmly believing that benefits accruing therefrom would be incalcnlable.
