con at some length. It was believed
by some that the money could be better used in other ways. Ohief Sneil
himself stated thé opinion that the
benefits to be derived would not: equal
the benefits that could be had! by expending the money in other manuere.
Still there were others who warmly
advocated representation’ at the convention, firmly believing that benefits
accruing therefrom would be incalcnlable. Various ideas were advanced,
one of them being that the expense of.
