Trouble With an Officer.
The Ahearn brothers, John and William,
got into‘an altercation with Under Sheriff
Pascoe at the Court House yesterday afternoon shortly after ~ five o'clock. They
wanted to see their .brother, Jerome, who
had become disorderly in the afternoon during the progress of the Baldwin-McUormick . "
case and had been placed in a cell, bnt were
‘refused admittance as no visitors are allowed
in the jail. They then became very abusive
and John Ahearn made a movement toward
his pocket as if to draw aweapon, Pascoe
grasped his arm and a scuflle ensued. The
officer finally drew a pistol and commanded
Ahearn to give up the weapon but he re-~
fused. He quickly relented, however, and
produced an ugly-looking dirk knite. He
was then arreeted and was today charged
with an attempted assault with a deadly
weapon,

THERE is more Catarrh in this section of
the country than all other diseases put together, and until the last few years was
supposed to be incurable. For a great many
years doctors pronounced it a local disease,
and prescribed local remedies, and by constantly failing to cure with local treatment,
pronounced it incurable, Science has proven
catarrh tobe a constitutional treatment.
Hall’s Catarrh Cure, manufactured by F, J.
Cheney & Co,, Toledo, Ohio, is the only
constitutional cure on the market, It is
taken internally in doses from 10 drops to a
teaspoonful. It acts directly on the blood
and mucous surfaces of the system, They
offer one hundred dollara for any case it
fails to cure. Send for list of testimonial.

‘Marvelous Results.
From a letter written by Rev. J. Cunderman, of Dimondale, Mich., we aré permitted
to make@@Phis extract: ‘1 have no hesitation
in recommending Dr. King’s New Discovery,
as the results were almost marvelous in the
case of my wife. While I was pastor of the
Baptist Church at Rives Junction she was
brought down with Pnoeumonta succeeding
LaGrippe. Terrible paroxysms of coughing
wou'd last hours with little interruption and
it seemed ag if she could not survive them,
A friend recommended Dr, King’s New Discovery; it was quick in its work and highly
satisfactory in results.” Trial bottles iree
